From Earth...to earth?!

Our planet is unique in a very special way; all three forms (liquid, solid, and gas) of water can be found here. Very few other planets can boast that, in fact, none in our solar system can!      In July of 2015, NASA's Kepler mission discovered a bigger (60% larger diameter, in fact!) and  longer year-ed (385 days compared to our 365) planet, suitably named Kepler-452b . This planet lies 1,400 light years away in the constellation Cygnus (which is Latin for swan). At this time in history no atmospheric components are known and temperature is also unknown; it is speculated that the terrain is rocky and includes oceans and very active volcanoes, and the planet's gravity could be twice as much as Earth's. What's great about these displays is that Hansen knows what he's doing; I'd say anyone with 20 years of chef experience would! But not only does he have the eye and hand for it, he's got a super crew of Bliss Holloway and Jack Hunter to help make the image in his head come to real life. I love when artist work together so seamlessly like that. Seeing how creatively he portrays food makes it fun to look at, like an adventure for the eyes as they jump from ...
